We breathe new life into vintage automobiles, preserving automotive heritage with uncompromising craftsmanship.
Founded in 1990 by master craftsman Rodrick Thompson, RodricksRestorations began as a small garage dedicated to preserving the golden age of automotive design.
What started as a passion project has evolved into one of the most respected restoration workshops in the country, with over 500 completed restorations and numerous industry awards.
Completed: 2023
Our team brings decades of experience in the rebuilding and development of a wide range of pre- and post-war engines. These include WO and Derby Bentleys, Lagonda, Alvis, Amilcar, Hispano-Suiza, Lancia, Rolls-Royce, Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Bugatti.
Our fully equipped engine shop houses an extensive range of machining equipment, enabling us to carry out every stage of engine manufacture and rebuild in house. We also adapt vintage engines to run smoothly and reliably on modern fuels.
With the addition of our state-of-the-art dynamometer facility, we can now fully harness the expertise of our in-house team to analyse, develop and precisely tune almost any engine, unlocking significant gains in both performance and efficiency.
Founded in 1990 by master craftsman Rodrick Thompson, RodricksRestorations began as a small garage dedicated to preserving the golden age of automotive design.
Our philosophy is simple: every classic automobile deserves to be restored with the same care and attention to detail that went into building it in the first place. We combine traditional craftsmanship with modern engineering to deliver results that exceed expectations.
Today, we are proud to be one of the most respected restoration workshops in the country, having completed over 500 projects and earned 18 industry awards.
Every component, every stitch, every coat of paint is applied with meticulous attention to detail. We never cut corners.
We research each vehicle extensively to ensure restorations honour the original manufacturer's specifications and intent.
We work closely with owners throughout every stage, providing regular updates and involving them in key decisions.
